The iEXOS-100 is a fully-fledged astronomical telescope mount with Wifi-Goto function, which is also ideal for equatorial tracking of SLR cameras with wide-angle or telephoto lenses. The iEXOS-100 incorporates the revolutionary Explore Scientific PMC-Eight ™ Precision Tracking System to effortlessly navigate and track all celestial objects at an affordable price.

The integrated PMC-Eight tracking electronics are conveniently controlled by your free ExploreStars app on your own notebook or tablet. The ExploreStars app is available for Windows, Android and iOS. In addition, we offer you the free ASCOM POTH client from Explore Scientific (wired or wireless) for download to work with virtually any Sky software that supports the ASCOM standard.

The attachment of small telescopes or DSLR camera is done with the help of a standard Vixen Style swash plate. The iEXOS-100 is therefore very universal and carries your equipment with a total weight of up to 7 kg.

Goto systems play an important role in the world of amateur astronomy as they ensure that users spend less time searching for specific objects and more time watching and photography. The PMC-Eight ™ controller, with its versatile connection and connection options, allows you to control your telescope from a few meters away or to communicate from computer to computer with an internet connection from virtually anywhere in the world.

One of the outstanding features of the iEXOS-100 system is its German equatorial design. When it comes to tracking the stars with a telescope or camera, there is nothing comparable to the precision of a German equatorial mount. Before you can track an object, you need to find it, and this goal can become a difficult task when faced with a huge number of stars under a dark sky. The iEXOS-100 provides you with a powerful GOTO system that will guide you quickly and easily to any celestial object, without the frustration of navigating the night sky. This integrated version of Explore Scientific's PMC-Eight ™ system goes beyond the industry standard and employs eight independently operating CPUs, each of which can focus on well-defined, individual functions. This distribution of tasks among the processors results in a system that provides excellent responsiveness, efficiency, reliability, and remarkably short control intervals for precise tracking to precisely balance the earth's rotation, and then help to provide point-tracking astrophotos.

Although internally quite complex, the GOTO system can be easily operated from your own Apple, Android or Windows tablet using the ExploreStars app. The intuitive interface allows you to quickly and easily align your telescope, navigate through the stars and learn many interesting things about tens of thousands of celestial objects. This dynamic app is powered by a database that is updated regularly to ensure that it remains a reliable source for all the information displayed.

The iEXOS-100 has non-slip and smooth axle clamps that allow you to quickly move your telescope from one side to the other, and a stepless fine adjustment for the pole height (latitude adjustment). The mount includes a small polar alignment tunnel that allows the user to roughly align his iEXOS-100 with Polaris. This is necessary to achieve good tracking quality. There's also a simple built-in spirit level that helps level your tripod. Further features include a holder for holding the battery compartment, which supplies the PMC-Eight Goto system ™ with 8 C batteries (batteries not included). Furthermore, there are two 1 kg counterweights to balance the mount, and several fluorescent elements are attached to some parts of the mount and tripod so you can follow your setup at night.
