The new Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer mini WiFi (SAM) mount is a compact, high-precision camera tracking platform. It is ideal for long-exposure astrophotos in astronomy as well as time-lapse photography during the day and at night.

SAM is so compact that it really fits in any backpack or camera bag. This makes him an ideal companion for every trip, even to the most remote regions.

Sky-Watcher SAM is equipped with Wi-Fi and is controlled via the smartphone as a freeware for Android and iOS Star Adventurer Mini app. SAM is very easy to set up and operate in all modes.

SAM can also be used with larger camera - lens combinations, but is ideal and very easy to use for wide field astrophotography with standard 55mm focal length lenses or shorter. But only a rough Polausrichtung is needed and not experienced amateur astrophotographers come to nice results.

The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini Wireless LAN (SAM Astrophoto Set) includes: the Star Adventurer Mini WLAN (SAM) mount, the ball head adapter, polarizer and lighting, pole height cradle and the concertina tail L mounting rail. You can get Sky-Watcher trigger cables for your camera separately for most camera models.

The Star Adventurer Mini WLAN can be easily mounted directly on a standard tripod with 1/4 "or 3/8" mounting screw. The pile height can be set precisely and easily with the pile height cradle included in the set. A camera can either be mounted with a ball head on the Star Adventurer or the dovetail L-bracket is used, on this can also be optionally attached a counterweight with rod.
