SkyWatcher WAVE 100I STRAINWAVE MOUNT

Leveraging the stress wave design with its high torque and compact construction, Sky-Watchers WAVE mounts provide high precision and performance in an affordable and portable package. With exclusive features not found on any other voltage wave mount, the new WAVE series is a serious update and improvement to Sky-Watcher's already immensely popular family of astronomical mounts.
The Sky-Watcher WAVE-100i is based on a voltage wave or harmonic drive transmission design. This drive gear design offers a number of advantages, including high-precision tracking with minimal backlash for long exposure shooting and a compact design with a remarkable payload-to-weight ratio for the use of various devices while being convenient to transport.
The WAVE-100i offers a payload capacity of 10kg (15kg with optional counterweight kit) while being incredibly compact and lightweight. Sky-Watcher's WAVE mounts also feature EQ and AZ tracking modes with RA and DEC home positions, dual-fit saddles, 0-90º latitude range, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, RA Braking function when power is off, as well as a red backlit latitude indicator and spirit level to make your setup routine much easier.
