TS-Optics EQ platform - for automatic tracking of your Dobson telescope
A Dobson telescope convinces with an easy handling. Just set up and get started - pure viewing pleasure! If only this annoying supply would not be and the object would remain in the eyepiece field of view even at high magnification.

The TS-Optics EQ platform is the solution. Simply place your Dobson on the platform, turn on the engine and the target stops in the center of the eyepiece. You can also observe at high magnification and focus entirely on the subject. Even the photography of the moon and planets becomes possible.

The EQ platform will track your Dobson for about an hour, then it will need to be reset. But that is easy and fast done.

The operation of the platform is very simple:

♦ Place the platform as level as possible. The built-in spirit level helps you with this. If the ground is soft, you should put something under it to prevent it from sinking in.

♦ Align the platform in a north-south direction. The drive motor must point to the south, the circle segment to the north. A compass or app on the smartphone is sufficient for the orientation.

♦ Place your Dobson on the platform and switch on tracking. (N stands for the northern hemisphere - S stands for the southern hemisphere) - Now you can start the observation.
