This mount is also available only as a mounting head without a tripod.
 

The parallactic mount NEQ3 is not only a good basis for observation, it also enables astrophotography. With the mount long exposure is possible with appropriate accessories. This will allow you to successfully take pictures of nebula objects and galaxies, moon and planetary images are no problem.

In the basic configuration we offer here, the EQ3 is suitable for compact to medium-sized telescopes. The mount is ready for the successful observation of astronomical (and earthly) objects.

Differences between NEQ3 and normal EQ3:

Apart from the color, the most important difference is the quick release. The NEQ3 offers the same quick connect as the EQ5 mount - so GP level. Under "Accessories" we also offer prism rails.

Load capacity:

The EQ3 carries Newton telescopes up to 150mm opening and refractor telescopes up to 100mm opening, in short construction also up to 120mm opening. It can be loaded with devices weighing up to approx. 5 kg.

Astrophotography with the EQ3:

A mount, which is to be used for photography, especially for photographs of nebulae and galaxies, must bring some conditions:

- A fine adjustment in pole height and azimuth for very precise positioning of the mount
- a pick-up option for the pole finder - an effective way of quick and accurate placement
