With the SkyHunter mounts, iOptron has further developed and perfected the former "Cube" mount and continued the trend towards portable photo mounts - light, compact, easy to use and yet equipped with a lot of technology .

The SkyHunter mounts are available in three versions and can be fully controlled via smartphone or tablet using iOS and Android operating systems. ASCOM and INDI are also supported. With the built-in WiFi adapter, control can be implemented via ASCOM, iOptron Commander or Sky Safari. A supplied column extension ensures a generous adjustment of the height and relaxed observation even near the zenith. With the 3/8 connection, the SkyHunter mounts can also be placed on any photo tripod.

Built-in optical encoders and four different tracking modes ensure precise tracking, as well as operation in the northern and southern hemispheres.
