iOptron SkyGuider PRO - Next Generation Camera Tracker.

The SkyGuider Pro is a very lightweight mount, with which you can track a camera with interchangeable lenses or a small telescope of the sky rotation. This allows longer exposure times. That's how fascinating wide-angle shots of the night sky succeed.

The SkyGuider Pro allows the use of cameras with heavy lenses weighing up to five kilograms. To make this possible, the SkyGuider Pro has a thicker right ascension axle, larger worm wheels and a counterweight, with which you can bring the camera into balance. In fact, by balancing, you can even track a lightweight telescope. The mount head is so small that it fits in one hand.

Optionally, you can also use the Go2Nova hand control and even track it automatically via the ST-4 input.

The SkyGuider Pro has a built-in Li-Polymer battery. You can charge it via USB.

In order for the mount to correctly track your camera's sky rotation, the axis of rotation of the SkyGuider Pro must match the Earth's axis of rotation. Just aim the Polarstern, which - a whim of nature - pretty much marks the position of the axis of rotation in the sky. The aim is to locate a small telescope mounted in the axis of the SkyGuider Pro. This so-called Polsucher has an engraving with which you can sight the Polarstern. The engraving itself is illuminated. This makes it easy to find the correct orientation.

Most likely, most of the time you will use the standard speed with which the camera keeps the stars firmly in view. But it is also possible to choose the speed of the sun or the moon. Very interesting is another option for the speed: If you want to photograph both stars and the landscape or buildings in the foreground, please select half the star speed. Thus, the stars remain punctiform, without the foreground objects are blurred.

You can also reverse the direction of rotation for all four possible speed levels so that the SkyGuider Pro also works in the southern hemisphere of the earth. That's important, because the SkyGuider Pro is also a very good travel organizer!

If the camera is aiming for something near the desired position, you can quickly turn it in the correct direction again with the high-speed function without touching it and thus possibly adjusting it.
