Hotech 1.25" SCA alignment laser with perfect centering - point laser

This alignment laser makes correct collimation of your Newtonian telescope easy. The SCA (Self-Centering Adapter) keeps the collimator parallel and centered.

Self Centering Adapter (SCA)

Many simple alignment lasers have the property of tilting when tightening the clamping screw in the focuser and without wobbling the screw. The adjustment would be gone. The Hotech collimator is different: the laser cannot tilt thanks to its self-centering design. You do not need a screw to clamp the collimator in the focuser. Some focusers have slight diameter tolerances. The Hotech alignment laser also compensates for this.

45° reticle

The tilted reticle enables one-man adjustment of the primary mirror as well.

Fine, sharply defined point of light

The place where the laser hits is clearly defined, not blurred.

Durable and lightweight

The housing made of anodised aviation aluminum makes good use of the properties of this material: The alloy is light and mechanically resilient, which means that the laser does not have any unnecessary weight and is still able to withstand a lot.

Reticle variant available

The central exit hole is wider than the laser beam, which is why the latter disappears in the hole when the main mirror is fine-tuned. The version with crosshairs then enables the finest corrections of the collimation.
