The TSRCKolli-G2 collimator was developed for Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes, but can also be used for other types of telescopes such as refractors or SC.

We recommend the collimator especially for RC telescopes, Cassegrains and Schmidt Cassegrains, provided there is a secondary mirror center marking. This means that a first-class collimation condition for the telescope can be achieved even during the day


TS RCKOLLI 2" LED collimator for almost all telescope types
The collimator is compatible with almost all common optical systems and allows accurate collimation during the day. In particular, we recommend the collimator for all Cassegrain telescopes such as Schmidt-Cassegrain, RC, Dall-Kirkham and similar telescope types. The collimator is very precise and the collimation result is largely independent of tilting.

To achieve high-quality collimation even in bright daylight, simply insert the collimator into your focuser and follow the appropriate operating instructions for your telescope if necessary. This collimator has two basic operating modes: a refractor mode with white LEDs and a reflector mode with red LEDs. Connect a suitable power supply (12V) to one of the barrel connectors to activate the required LEDs.
Note: A power supply is not included in the scope of delivery.

Collimation of Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes and similar systems
It is well known that collimating an RC is not a simple matter. With this collimator it is possible to achieve a very good collimation result during the day. This means you always have an optimally adjusted RC telescope at your disposal during the night. Collimation can be carried out by anyone. However, it is important that the secondary mirror of your telescope has a center marking.

Collimator connections
On the telescope side, the TSRCKOLLI-G2 has an M48 thread. This enables tilt-free screwing to the telescope. On the viewing side there is a T2 thread covered with a silver-colored protective ring. You can connect either a suitable camera or a smartphone to this using the appropriate adapters or holders.
