Extension sleeves from TS

For most telescopes, the focal plane is placed slightly farther outwards, so that, for example, a photographic application is possible. Refractor telescopes always have a large distance from the focal plane to the separation because a zenith mirror or an Amici prism is always used for a more comfortable view.

The problem:
Very often you can no longer focus the devices, you turn out the Okularauzug and the picture is getting sharper. Before you reach the optimum focus, the focuser is completely driven out.

The solution:
The extension sleeves from TS bridge the optical path. The focuser remains in the optimal position.

2" extension of TS Optics with 80mm length
The 2" extension sleeve with 80mm length is the shortest of the 2" sleeves. Most adapters or eyepiece sleeves just fit into the extension. It may even be that the eyepiece or the adapter protrude a bit, but that is not a problem.

The "optical path" does not include the length of the 2" insert sleeve, as it disappears, for example, in the 2" focuser.

The clamping:
The clamping of the eyepiece or the adapter takes place gently on a brass ring. As a result, clamping marks on the eyepiece are prevented and the clamping is more precise.

The processing:
The extension sleeves are solid made of aluminum. They are black anodized. The sleeves have a locking groove on the 2" socket, which prevents unintentional fall-out and has a 2" filter thread (M 48x0.75) on the telescope side.
