For some time, Sky-Watcher has been upgrading its Newton telescopes with good 2" Crayford pulleys, however, the simple clamping with thumbscrews that press on the eyepiece wall has been left in. In addition, with this type of clamping, the eyepiece or adapter can tilt slightly, causing sharpness naturally reduced in the field.

The short-fitting 2" adapter from TS with ring clamp is the solution:

• The adapter is screwed directly into the M54 internal thread of the pull-out tube, making it the shortest adaptation to 2". You will also have no problems getting into focus in your photographic work.
• A metal ring presses over the surface of the eyepiece or adapter and thus fixed gently and safely.
• No traces of pressure remain
• A precise stop exactly on the optical axis is possible.

Technical specifications:

• Connecting thread on the telescope side ... M54x1 external thread (= thread of the Sky-Watcher Crayford extension tubes)
• Connection to the eyepiece side ... 2" with ring clamp
• Optically effective height ... 12mm (the thread does not count, because it disappears in the pull-out tube)
