Without effort, press the rotary lever of the KlickLock mechanism and clamp a 2 "diagonal mirror, an eyepiece or a 2" adapter exactly on the optical axis. The holding power of the KlickLock mechanism is enormous. A test has shown that you can lift a 26kg heavy C14 with the adapter. For normal applications a 15-20° twist is sufficient, which happens without effort. Already heavy accessories are securely clamped.

A more precise clamping on the axle is not possible ...

In contrast to normal clamps, where the accessories are pressed laterally against the housing wall, with the KlickLock clamping several jaws press evenly on the inner part and thus ensure an automatic precise centering on the axle. Especially in photography but also in observation, this ensures a more even distribution of sharpness in the field.

It does not work better ...

The uniform clamping protects the often quite thin-walled parts. Simple clamps generate considerable lateral pressure. The KlickLock clamp distributes the pressure evenly over the housing wall and thus does not stress the adapter or eyepiece so much.

The mechanism is simple and easy to use even when wearing gloves.
