The clamp fits, among others, Sky-Watcher Newton focuser. It replaces the original 2" clamp, where just two screws press on the eyepiece or the adapter.The overall height of the adapter is 30mm, which is 18mm longer than the original clamp.When adopting astrophotography this should be taken into account.

Never before has an eyepiece for amateur astronomy been so elaborately crafted. The Baader ClickLock (1Œ"/ 2") is a precisely fitting, very massive eyepiece clamp without clamping screws (!). Inserted eyepieces / CCD cameras u. Ä. Sit against rotation and are not scratched! With a small turn of 20°, each eyepiece is firmly clamped.

You do not have to laboriously tighten our ClickLock clamps and risk damage as the mechanical principle comes from professional mechanical engineering. This is how the tool holder works in modern CNC milling centers. Clever use of leverage strengthens the torque many times over. The inserted object is held on three sides as with a quick-action chuck and can therefore no longer carry out any tilting movements.

• A 20° turn by slight pressure on the rotary lever is enough to secure all 2" accessories absolutely securely and firmly.
• Ratchet function - acoustically and haptically indicates the position of the clamp. So you can see in the dark and without looking whether the terminal is open or closed.
• Massive clamping ring - keeps the most expensive accessories absolutely safe without causing scratches and bruises.
• The position of the rotary lever can be adjusted by means of 6 camera slotted screws or 6 Allen screws with hexagonal wrench to make optional use of the CL terminals for left-handed and right-handed users.
