The short design adapter replaces the full backplate of the Sky-Watcher, GSO, Celestron and Orion viewfinder and adapts to T2.

♦ Fits 50mm viewfinder telescopes from GSO, Skywatcher, Celestron, Orion (straight-line and angle finder).
♦ For angle finder (90° view) you have a long working distance of about 57mm from the T2 thread.
♦ For straight-line viewfinders, the distance is only a few millimeters.
♦ Unobstructed opening of 36mm, which also allows for the use of 1.25" eyepieces or autoguiders with 1.25" housing via optional adapters from T2 to 1.2 ".

T2 adapter for 50 mm viewfinder with 36 mm free opening
The adapter features a short-throw T2 large-aperture adapter for 50 mm aperture viewfinder telescopes. This will replace the entire back plate of the viewfinder. The short-fitting adapter has a clean stop edge and fits into all 50mm viewfinders.

Scope of application of the ParFoc50:

♦ The adapter allows you to convert your 50 mm viewfinder into a mini guidingscope, ie into a compact guide tube.

The ParFoc50 fits almost all 50mm viewfinder telescopes (GSO, Sky-Watcher, Vixen, Celestron, Orion and identical:

♦ The adapter will also fit for almost 50mm viewfinder telescopes. In this case, you have about 57mm working distance from the T2 thread, so you can also use autoguiders with a longer working distance or special guiding eyepieces. You can even focus on the eyepiece using T2 focusers.

♦ For straight-line viewfinder telescopes, the working distance is only a few millimeters. The adapter makes sense above all for the adaptation of autoguiders with 1.25 "-housing (SBIG, Starlight Lodestar, TSGM120M etc.) You still need an adapter from T2 to 1.25" and then you can by moving the autoguider well set the sharpness.

Although the adapter fits almost all 50 mm viewfinders, but:
The thread pitch of the viewfinder is not standardized. Therefore, it may be that the ParFoc50 will not turn your searcher to the limit. This does not reduce the usability of the adapter. Just turn the ParFoc50 in until it fits well. Then you can easily use the viewfinder as a guide tube.
