PST-50 ADAPTER: Adapts the Coronado PST40 to a 2 inch focuser.

WARNING: The PST conversion is really only for people who know what they are doing due to the dangers of UV radiation. Use the PST conversion at your own risk. In case of improper handling you will lose your warranty claim! We do not assume any liability for possible damages!

Use the converted PST only in connection with a webcam or a CCD camera.
For observation with the eye, the original PST optics should be used!

1. unscrew the golden tube including the objective from the PST. 2.

2. screw the PST-50 adapter into the black PST block

3. the PST can now be clamped into the 2 inch OAZ of a refractor (e.g. SkyWatcher 102/1000), ideal are refractors with 3-4 inch aperture and a focal ratio from f/8 to f/10

4. IMPORTANT ! An energy protection filter (Baader D-ERF) must be placed in front of the lens of the refractor. This is vapor deposited on the lens of the original optics. You can also use various filter combinations (H-alpha, UV/IR block filters) in the PST adapter. Therefore, two screw-in inserts on T2 and M28.5x0.6 filter thread are included, 2 inch filters can be screwed directly into the adapter at the front.
