TS-Optics 23.5 to 27 mm extension tube with M54.3x1 thread (internal/external) with locking ring for Skywatcher focusers

The variable extension increases the length of the Skywatcher focuser's drawtube by 23.5–27 mm. The distance is adjustable via the locking ring.

Telescope-side thread: M54.3x1 male thread, 10 mm long, fits the female thread of Skywatcher focusers.

The thread can be shortened with the locking ring, thus adjusting the effective length of the adapter from 23.5 mm to 27 mm.

Skywatcher uses the M54 internal thread for screw connections on its focusers. This adapter extends the drawtube by 23.5 to 27 mm.

The extension is useful, for example, when you want to screw Newtonian correctors like the TSGPU onto the Skywatcher focuser. This corrector moves the focal point further out, so the focus can be easily achieved with the TSM541-MPCC screw adapter.

Skywatcher does not use a true M54x1 internal thread; it is a "non-standard" thread with a diameter of approximately 54.3 mm. We have, of course, taken this into account in the design of the extension tube. Taken.
