♦ Connection at camera side: Canon RF mount male
♦ Connection at telescope side: T2 female thread and S52 dovetail ring (female)
♦ Very short design, with the back focal distance of the Canon R cameras (20 mm) you can make a very tight telescope connection. The working distance from T2 thread to sensor is only 28.3 mm!
♦ In combination with the optional adapters to M48, you can optimally adapt the camera to the telescope or corrector.
♦ Further adapters, e.g. to 2" or M48, can be connected via the S52 terminal (see product configuration).
The Baader Wide-T-Ring allows the connection of the new mirrorless full-frame cameras Canon R, RP and Ra to your telescope.
You can remove the T2 insert with the supplied hex wrench, then an S52 dovetail receptacle for various connections is at your disposal.
♦ Short connection to M48x0.75:
The adapter # 2958552 replaces the T2 insert and allows the connection to correctors with the male M48x0.75 thread. The length of the Wide-T-Ring is not changed by this. With the Canon R you reach a distance of 28,3 mm from the M48 thread to the sensor.
♦ 2" receptacle with M48x1 filter thread:
With the adapter # 2958551, you can attach the Wide-T-Ring directly to 2" without the T2 bottleneck. There is also an M48x0.75 filter thread at your disposal. From the M48 filter thread to the sensor it is exactly 55 mm, ideal for common correctors.
♦ Connection to the M68x1 (Zeiss Style) thread:
With the adapter # 2458252, you can attach the Wide-T-Ring directly to focusers and adapter with the female M68x1 thread. We also offer reversion rings if your connection has a male M68x1 thread.
♦ Connection to the Baader UFC Filter Changer System:
With the adapter # 2459119, you can attach the Wide-T-Ring directly to the Baader UFC (Universal Filter Changer) System.
