Baader double mounting set including 3" plate, V-clamp and Stronghold

The Baader double mounting set is used to mount two telescopes with Vixen-style dove rails on one mount. It offers numerous connection options. With the Stronghold tangential pan (load capacity: approx. 7 kg photographically) the second optic can be aligned exactly parallel to the first - with simpler double mounting rails, deviations in collimation or inaccuracies in the telescope attachment cannot be compensated for!

The set consists of

    Double mounting plate and holder for guide scope clamps size 1 and 2, length 300mm with 3" swallow (#1500330, € 122)
    Clamp V, 70mm for Vixen/Celestron (#2451530, € 48)
    Baader Stronghold Tangential Head – Black (#2450310S, € 315)
    Guide scope clamps or other accessories mentioned are not included!

The plate is 300 mm long and 100 mm wide. When mounted on the mount via the 3" Losmandy-style dovetail, it can also be moved sideways to balance the system. Alternatively, it can also be screwed firmly to the declination heads of many mounts use the 3.2" standard bolt circle (e.g. 10Micron GM2000 and many AstroPhysics mounts). It also fits the Astro Physics double mounts #1401128 (13") and #1401129 (16") for mounting

Guide scope clamps next to a clamping plate to perfectly tare two telescopes next to each other. There is also a large 3/8" photo thread in the middle of the plate. The plate also has holes for additional/other clamps and pipe clamps. You can use the Vixen clamp or the Stronghold with clamp 3", 230mm Pan EQ Dual Mounting (#2451566, € 260) or clamp 3", 190mm Pan EQ dual mounting (#2451525 , € 219). Alternatively, the plate can also be used with 1 pair of guide tube clamps, size I, 60-120mm (#1500201, € 143) or 1 pair of guide tube clamps, size II, 110-160mm (#1500202, € 186).
