LACERTA Stand Alone Autoguider

The LACERTA M-GEN Stand Alone Autoguider can take over all the functions of an autoguider without computer help. The power supply is via 12V. Since the autoguider does not require cooling, the M-GEN consumes very little power. The supply via standard 12V power tanks is completely sufficient.

Performance features of the LACERTA M-GEN Autoguider:

-- Complete autoguiding function without a computer
-- 12V power supply - current consumption only 120mA
-- Connection via T2 with a very short distance from the thread to the chip
-- Highly sensitive SONYX ICX279AL-E chip (3.6x2.7mm)
-- At 90mm aperture you can reach 10mag in 1 second and 12mag in 4 seconds
-- LIVE image of the star (only the activated pixels are displayed)
-- Exposure time of 0.1 sec. adjustable up to 4 seconds
-- Autocalibration RA/Dec axis
-- Control of Canon EOS cameras (connection cable not included)
-- Measuring mode for determining the per. Snail error and the declination drift (correction is switched off)
-- Statistics functions (seeing, mount play...)
-- Parallel displacement (dithering) in both axes - independently adjustable
-- Back focus only 7mm

The new features of version II at a glance:

- Beeper that signals a star loss, end of exposure...
- The cable between the hand box and the camera head is made of flexible, cold-resistant silicone
supplied. This means there is no longer a problem even in winter
- Stabilization for the power supply built in 12V
