ZWO adapter for Canon EOS lenses to ASI cameras


The adapter allows you to connect Canon EOS camera lenses to ZWO ASI Cooled cameras.

Connection on the lens side: Canon EOS bayonet inside (female)
Camera side connection: T2 external thread (male)
Suitable for cameras with a focal distance of 11-18 mm (distance from the T2 thread to the camera sensor)
The adapter can be adjusted to the camera and the EOS lens with an accuracy of a fraction of a millimeter
M48 thread for connecting filters
Not suitable for STM lenses!


ZWO adapter for CCD cameras to Canon EOS lenses
Use your high-quality EOS camera lenses and image large areas of the sky, for example. The CCD camera replaces the SLR camera.

The adapter is suitable for CCD cameras with a working distance of 11 mm to 18 mm. For example, ASI cameras with a working distance of 17.5 mm or most ATIK CCD cameras are suitable.

The distance is set to a fraction of a millimeter precisely for the combination of CCD camera and EOS lens.
Loosen the locking ring
Simply twist the T2 attachment out of the adapter until the distance is exactly right.
The locking ring is then tightened again and the overall length of the adapter is fixed.


Important note: The adapter is not suitable for STM lenses as they require a power supply to focus!
