Omegon Barlow lens - The standard for your eyepiece case
The Omegon Barlow lens increases the focal length of your telescope and offers you two different areas of application:
Increasing the magnification of your eyepieces Webcam photography
Increase the magnification
In conjunction with an eyepiece, the Barlow lens doubles/triples the magnification. The 1.25" eyepiece is simply inserted into the Barlow lens and clamped with a fixing screw on the side. You then insert everything together into the eyepiece focuser. For example, if you normally achieve a 20x magnification with your eyepiece, this increases 2x with the Omegon Barlow lens to 40x, with the 3x Barlow lens to 60x If you initially want to purchase a whole If you want to do without an eyepiece set, a Barlow lens is a good option.
Focal length and webcam
With the Omegon Barlow lens you can increase the focal length of your telescope and at the same time increase the magnification of the object. When you attach a webcam to a telescope for planetary photography, you will notice how tiny the planets are imaged. The Omegon Barlow lens increases the focal length and thereby enlarges the planet. Only now can you see details on the planetary disks. A must for planetary photography!
A lens that convinces...
The Omegon Barlow lens has two-lens achromatic optics, so it already offers good images. An additional green multi-coating ensures the reduction of unwanted reflexes. As soon as you touch it for the first time, you can tell that this relatively inexpensive Barlow lens is of very high quality. No plastic was used here like with other lenses - the housing is made entirely of metal. The field lens has a large diameter of 25mm. This Barlow lens is not significant because it weighs less than a hundred grams and is very compact.
The advantages at a glance:
achromatic Barlow lens 1.25" Increase eyepiece magnification suitable for webcam photography Against reflexes: multi-compensation sturdy metal housing Side clamping screw for fixing
