High-quality, premium design – uncompromising performance! The Sky-Watcher 2" Nomad-4 4x telecentric focal extender is a high-quality optical accessory with a wealth of uses for visual and photographic applications.

Visual Use: When used as a Barlow lens with a visual eyepiece, it quadruples the magnification of any eyepiece for detailed observations of celestial objects such as the Moon or planets. It is constructed with high-grade glass elements and coatings to ensure minimal light loss and maximum clarity. A brass clamping ring and screw secure the eyepiece, preventing damage.

Photographic Use: The premium 4-element design delivers images without chromatic aberration across the entire photographic field of view. It is ideal for spectacular, high-resolution photos of planetary surfaces or lunar details without compromising the high quality of your telescope. In other words, it preserves the apochromatic performance of your ED apochromatic telescope! A CCD camera can be connected directly using the included CCD adapter. It can be connected to a DSLR camera. For a DSLR camera, you will also need the appropriate M48x0.75 to camera mount adapter.
