Celestron EdgeHD 0.7x Reducer for the Edge HD 925 SC Telescope

This reducer is designed for the 9.25" EHD and increases the focal ratio from f/10 to f/7. The exposure time is reduced by one-half and the field of view is increased by 43%. With an image circle of 42 mm, the reducer is very well suited for almost all astro cameras and DSLR cameras up to full-frame size sensors. The distinguished 4-element design and very good coatings prevent from reflections. Outstanding astrophotos are possible.
 

The working distance form the SC thread of the reducer:

The reducer does not shorten the working distance. You can continue to use exactly the same adaption as without reducer. Thus changing over the EHD from f/10 to f/7 becomes extremely easy. You can reuse your adaption unchanged.

We always recommend adapting via M48 for retaining optimal illumination. Only in this way you can fully use illumination and correction of the reducer. We have developed the TSEHD-M48 especially for the Celestron EHD reducers. It offers the following advantages:

♦ 55 mm working distance from the M48 thread for easy attaching of DSLR and astro cameras
♦ 2" filter thread at the (easy to access) bottom side of the adapter for attaching of nebula filters
