♦ Optimal for Newtonian telescopes with an f-ratio of f/3 up to f/6
♦ Very good illumination and correction up to 50 mm field diameter
♦ Generous backfocus between 66 mm and 71 mm (depends on focal length)
♦ Adaptation to the focuser via the M68x1 thread
♦ Camera connection via the M68x1 male thread of the corrector
♦ Due to the short design the illumination is improved and the corrector requires only 160 mm distance from the tube
♦ 1st image to the left - similar, the current corrector is even shorter
Image: TS 2.5" Wynne corrector with TSOAGM68 Off Axis Guider
The TS 2.5" Wynne corrector has a camera-sided M68x1 female thread. This allows for a convenient attachment of exciting accessories, such as our TS-Optics M68 off-axis guider. Most cameras with large sensors offer a M68x1 connection or can at least be adapted to this thread.
The backfocus is calculated from the base of the M68x1 thread:
♦ Focal length 600 mm - Backfocus 66 mm
♦ Focal length 800 mm - Backfocus 68 mm
♦ Focal length 1000 mm - Backfocus 69.5 mm
♦ Focal length 1200 mm - Backfocus 69.75 mm
♦ Focal length 1500 mm - Backfocus 70.5 mm
♦ Focal length 1800 mm - Backfocus 71 mm
