Products description

TS-Optics REFRACTOR 0.8x Reducer Corrector for 110 mm f/7 ED - 2" connection

TS-Optics focal length reduction and field correction for astrophotography with APO and ED refractors with 110 mm aperture

♦ Focal length reduction 0.8 times - exposure time is reduced to 64%
♦ Optimized for all refractor telescopes with 110 mm and f-ratio between f/7 and f/7.5
♦ Optimized design with special glass for highest sharpness
♦ Simple connection to the 2" receptacle of the focuser
♦ 2" filter thread for nebula filters on the telescope side
♦ Perfect sharpness and good illumination up to 30 mm sensor diameter - perfect e.g. for DSLR cameras with APS-C sensors
♦ Camera adaptation via the T2-thread (M42x0,75) - backfocus 55 mm

TS-Optics PHOTOLINE 2" corrector and focal length reducer for astrophotography with 110 mm f/7-f/7.5 ED refractors

This corrector is optimized for APO and ED refractor telescopes with 80 mm aperture and an f-ratio of f/7 to f/7.5. It delivers very good results with these telescopes. even with larger sensors the stars look sharp and round across the whole field.

The corrector is simply inserted into the 2" receptacle of the refractor and fixed. since it does not have a safety notch tilting will not be a problem.

Distance from T2 thread to camera sensor:

The backfocus from the camera-sided T2 thread to the sensor is exactly 55 mm. If you want to connect a DSLR you will need the appropriate T2 ring. For almost any astro camera, e.g. from ZWO, fitting adapters are available. The most important adapter rings are linked in the accessory section.

Usage of smaller refractors with smaller aperture and/or shorter focal length

This correctors also delivers good results with smaller refractors. We also recommend this corrector for 100 mm and 107 mm f/6 to f/7 refractor telescopes. The optimal distance for such telescopes is 60 mm from the T2 thread. In order to adapt a DSLR camera, you will need a T2 extension with 5 mm (TST2V5) and of course the T2 ring.

Attachment of nebula filters for astrophotography

On the telescope-side the corrector offers a M48x0.75 - 2" filter thread. With it you can attach all customary nebula filters.

Telescope-sided connection:2" receptacle with 2" filter thread
Camera-sided connection:T2 (M42x0.75) male thread
backfocus from T2 thread to camera sensor:55 mm (with a 110 mm f/7 refractor)
Coating:Multi-coating on each glass-air surface preventing reflexes and ghosting
