The PHOTOLINE Flattener was developed for all Triplet Apos and ED refractors from Teleskop Service, which have a 3" Crayford focuser. It corrects the field of view without changing the focal length. The large free aperture of 68mm also allows full illumination of full format sensors with suitable adaption. 

The TSFLAT3 can be screwed directly to the focusers of the following telescopes:

- TS Super Apo 80/480mm with 3" focuser (TLAPO804-3) - Here, an additional 20mm distance is needed!
- TS Super Apo 102/700mm (TSAPO102S)
- TS Super Apo 115/800mm (TSAPO115S)
- TS Super Apo 130/910mm (TSAPO130S)
- TS PHOTOLINE ED refractors f/7 with 3" extension - TSED8053 , TSED10273 and TSED11073
- TS 152/900mm achromat with 3" extension (IN152OTA)

In addition, the flattener fits Astro Professional refractors with 3" Crayford focuser. The Flattener is suitable for all refractors with sufficiently large focusers.

Due to the direct screw connection with the focuser, tilting is excluded. Currently we also offer adapters to the 2.5" Moonlite focuser and to the Baader 3" Steeltrack. Individual adaptations to your focusers are also possible.

Scope of delivery of the PHOTOLINE 3" Flattener 


The flattener is delivered with an adapter to M48. You can directly connect your DSLR camera with the bayonet ring and achieve optimal results, because they are in the optimal distance. The recommended distance from the M48 thread to the camera chip is 55mm. Faster Apo telescopes (f/6 to f/6.5) still need a 20mm M48 extension for optimal results.


Individual adaptations for more field and CCD cameras with larger sensors

The camera-side connection thread of the flattener has a diameter of 80mm. The optimal distance from this thread to the camera chip is 106mm (faster apos need 116mm). We offer a short adapter to the M69 thread and also more advanced adaptations, which ensure full illumination.

Adapter TSFLAT3-M69 ... from the M69 thread it is 93mm to the optimal focus position. With this adapter all necessary adaptions are linked, like M69 extension sleeves, off axis guider for full format, adapter to T2 and so on. You can use it to put together your individual adaptation - we will be happy to advise you.
