Lacerta 1.6x glass path corrector (light path corrector) for Lacerta binoculars


Either the Lacerta or a comparable glass path corrector is supplied.

With this glass path corrector, you can also use binoculars on telescopes with a narrow focal position. It is simply connected to the binocular attachment using the standardized 1.25" filter thread.

Thanks to this standardized filter thread, it can be used in a variety of ways, e.g. it can be screwed into a 1.25" eyepiece, but the extension factor is reduced depending on the position of the field stop of the eyepiece.

LIGHT PATH:
It reduces the light path by about 60-65mm depending on binoviewer type. This means that if a binoviewer itself has a 105mm light path, using the William Optics 1.6x light path corrector reduces this light path to 105-60=45mm to 105-65=40mm. We recommend removing the original 31.7mm support for SkyWatcher Newtons and using the "A508317null" adapter to attach the binocular attachment including the 1.6x light path corrector to the original 2" socket.
