This dew cap fits all C6 and C8 telescopes.

Dew caps are a very useful accessory that every observer needs at some point. Unfortunately, many observation nights are very humid. In Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, the dew first settles on the Schmidt plate. The dew cap protects against this dew precipitation, or at least significantly delays the time it starts to fog up. Standard dew caps for C-8 telescopes are made of hard plastic. The new Celestron "Lens Shade" dew caps for all other SC telescopes are made of an elastic material. These dew caps can be spread out flat for transport and therefore take up almost no space.
