The performance of the TS WA eyepieces:

The transmission (light transmission) of the TS WA eyepieces is best seen when held against a white surface. Any color deviation or darkening will be visible immediately. In the case of the TS WA eyepieces, the background remains very bright and relatively neutral in color. That is not self-evident.

Many wide-angle eyepieces reach the apparent field of vision only by an extreme distortion on the edge. The TS WA eyepieces can do without this distortion.
