O-III NARROWBAND FILTER 1.25" NARROWBAND FILTER FOR GAS AND PLANETARY FOGS
The O-III Narrowband filter has been specially developed for the observation of gas and planetary nebulae.
It allows only a very narrow wavelength range of visible light and thus increases the contrast, so you have ideal conditions for the observation of Super Nova remains and Planetary Nebulae.
The O-III narrowband filter isolates only the two lines of ionized oxygen (496 and 501nm) emitted by diffuse planetary nebulae and extremely faint nebulas. O-III filters are ideal for larger telescopes from 200mm opening. With larger telescopes, the observer has better opportunities to identify fog objects in the sky. Under dark sky he can almost create photographic sights on objects like the Ring Nebula, Dumbbell Nebula, Orion and many other objects.
