TS-Optics Finder Base with versatile flat base

The finder shoe has two 1/4" photo threads (female). With them, you can attach the finder shoe to a photo tripod or to a piggyback camera holder. That allows a more versatile usage. Now you can easily adapt a small guide scope to your telescope without rebuilding the finder.

With the TSSucherschuh, you also can attach your finder bracket to a flat support area like the square mirror box of a Dobsonian or the flat bearing surface of a tube ring. The finder shoe has a sinkhole which is suitable for flat head screws up to M6 and 1/4". We recommend flat head srews, as other screws would protrude and make correct mounting of the finder more difficult. The diameter of the countersunk hole is roughly 10 mm.
