TS-Optics Finder Shoe with flexible flat support surface

With this finder base, you can attach your finder bracket to a flat support area, for example to an angular mirror box of a Dobsonian or the flat support surface of a tube ring. The finder shoe has a slotted hole which is suitable for M5 countersunk head screws. In this case the head is completely sunken.

You can also use M6 or 1/4" countersunk head screws, but then the head of the screw protrudes a bit. However, as most finder brackets have a hollow profile at their bottom side, mounting is nevertheless possible. Only finder brackets with flat bottom side cannot be used with M6 screws.
