Newton optics with parabolic main mirror made of H-PZ33 low expansion glass material 2.5 "HEX focusser with rack-and-pinion drive Large elevation wheels allow shaking and jerky movement even at higher magnifications Incl. LED-viewfinder and 25mm SPL eyepiece 6-point mirror cell for optimum optical performance Tube with pipe clamps - this allows the use also on equatorial mountings Rockerbox with metal furniture connectors disassembled or built up in just a few minutes Diffraction-limited optics: Strehl> 0.8
The Bresser Messier 8 "Dobson is a very special one, but it offers a great variety of functions and quality, which is in vain for some of the more expensive devices, with the 203mm diameter optics, the observation is not on the moon and the planets of our solar system The first details are visible in the Deep Sky objects: globular clusters are dissolved in single stars and gas nebulies, which can only be detected with smaller devices, show structure , The device is unmatched in its versatility: the excellent Hexafoc eyepiece extractor has an aperture of 65mm, so no shading through the eyepiece extension tube is noticeable even in large wide field eyepieces Can be attached to accessories, such as A binocular attachment, then the entire tube can be displaced in the pipe clamps - and the speed of the lightning is again balanced. The unrivaled stiffness of the focusser makes the focusing easy - so the photography with this tube is no problem. Here is another strength of this universal telescope: if you want to take photos, you can simply unscrew the elevation wheels from the tube and place them on a parallactic mount with a dovetail rail. Astrofotography is no longer in the way. An optional 10: 1 gear reducer for the eyepiece extension is available for the highest demands. If you consider that the eyepiece extension is the telescope part that is most frequently used, the use of the Hexafoc is a quantum leap for this price class. The original equipment can be immediately observed - an LED viewfinder as well as a 25mm SPL eyepiece are included in the unit. If you want to transport the device as compactly as possible, the new 8 "Bresser Messier is easy to dismantle - the Rockerbox can be dismantled with just a few handgrips, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors to create a handy flat package of boards. A telescope whose versatility, performance and user friendliness set new standards in this price class.
