Transport, assembly and operation have never been so easy.

An evolution of the Dobson by Skywatcher: The Skyliner series.
The tube can be pushed together. Due to its ultra-compact dimension, it is ideal for transport and storage. For observation you have to pull the tube apart and have within seconds a fully operational and adjusted telescope. Do not worry: when fully extended this Dobson has a high stiffness.

Skyliner 14 "Flex Tube Dobson:

14 "opening is a huge size on a Dobson that still remains portable!
At this mirror diameter you can see the structure of nebulae and galaxies, details are resolved. Finest details in nebulae and galaxies reveal edge stars of star clusters, do not stay hidden from you. Even the color perception with some bright mists is possible!
Details in abundance in the moon and planets will captivate you for a long time, this abundance of image information will not cease. The excellent optics and its enormous image brightness make every observation a special pleasure.
Still a portable device due to the Flex Tubes system with only about 100 cm in length, you can easily take it in cars as well.

The adjustment of the SKEXD14:

The telescope sits on a so-called Rockerbox, which forms a stable, wobble-free substructure. The desired sky objects can be targeted by pushing on the tube.
The tripod plate runs on plain bearings and the telescope can be rotated by the side handles in the desired direction (azimuth). The height adjustment has a so-called "Tension Control" (see picture above). This allows you to adjust the movement of the height adjustment and even clamp the telescope firmly.

The 2 "Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction:

The Dobson is equipped with a smooth and precisely worked 2 "Crayford focuser with a reduction for 1.25" accessories. You can thus use powerful 2 "eyepieces, a bright picture and a broader view is possible.All 1.25" eyepieces can of course also be used.
Since the drawer is ball-bearing, heavy and accurate adjustments are guaranteed for heavy accessories.
To achieve a particularly accurate focus, the extract has a 1:10 micro reduction.

The mirror carrier is similar to Pyrex: It features a fast cooling and offers a slightly better image even during the cooling phase than other mirror carriers (such as Float glass or BK7). Cooled, the type of mirror carrier is no longer crucial, concerning the quality of the image. Here it becomes clear that the advantage of the PYREX is the fast operational capability of the telescope. Diffraction-limited imaging of the telescope is guaranteed.
