NEW - now includes a high quality objective solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. A high quality telescope for night and solar observing.

The BRESSER Messier 6 inch planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite the low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which is sometimes not found in much more expensive instruments. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and strong 1200mm focal length of the color-clean mirror optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible. The craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadow cast at the so-called terminator are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its imposing ring, Jupiter with its cloud bands and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the reddish glowing Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for.

Due to the long basic focal length, you can easily reach the high magnifications needed for this with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces for this. In short, this is a telescope mainly for detail observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be seen well.

Photography is also no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take photos, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and place them on a parallactic mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - nothing stands in the way of astrophotography. The eyepiece adapter included in the scope of delivery even has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost any commercially available photo camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope.

With the initial equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 finder as well as a 25 mm Super Plössl eyepiece are included. If you want to transport the instrument as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planetary Dobsonian is especially easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. This quickly turns a bulky rocker box into a handy flat package.

A telescope whose versatility, performance and ease of use set new standards in this price range.

Please note that Newtonian-type reflecting telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the night sky, but not well suited for daytime nature and landscape observations. For nature and landscape observations we therefore recommend BRESSER lens telescopes.
