The Orion Intelli Dobson makes astronomy a success from the very beginning, thanks to the AstroComputer with more than 14,000 stored objects and good optics. The mechanics are also solid and the Dobson can be separated from the mount with only a few hand movements so that the transport falls easily.

It's so easy to work with your computer:

- Just plug the computer into the socket and it's already calibrated, you do not need to make any extra settings.

- Just find an object from the database, press Enter and the computer will guide you to the object using simple arrows. One arrow is for the height and another for the horizontal adjustment.

- Now you see clearly that they have arrived, look through the telescope (with a weak magnification) and you will see the target object already.



The picture shows the simple and clear operation. The buttons are illuminated and the display is very clear. On the right hand side of the display you will see the arrow keys that lead you to the object and also show you the distance.

The advantages and differences of the IntelliScopes with the conventional GoTo:

Unlike GoTo devices, you move the Dobson by hand. There are no motors that move the device, but the computer shows you in which direction you need to move the device and how far away you are from the target .... a kind of heavenly navigation system.

- You do not need a strong power supply - simple small batteries for the computer
- The operation is silent - no loud engines frighten the neighbors from sleep
- The device is significantly transportable than a heavy GoTo mount
- The device is, of course, considerably less expensive than a comparable device with GoTo
