150MM (6") F/5 WIFI GOTO DESKTOP TELESCOPE WITH PARABOLIC MIRROR

The easily transportable Sky-Watcher HERITAGE-150P (VIRTUOSO GTi), is specifically designed for wireless use via WiFi with your smartphone or tablet using the freeware SynScan app for iOS or Android. The Virtuoso GTi mount with its built-in WiFi module creates its own WiFi network so that the mount can be used anywhere without having to access another WiFi network or mobile network. After entering your coordinates into the app and performing a simple alignment procedure, you're ready to explore the universe using the app's intuitive touchscreen menus.

The Virtuoso GTi and SynScan app form a fully computerized GoTo control system that allows the telescope to be automatically aligned with any object in the app's extensive database of more than 10,000 celestial objects. The telescope incorporates Sky-Watcher's patented Freedom-Find™ dual-encoder technology, which also allows the telescope to be moved by hand without losing previously stored position information. This allows for more convenient, flexible and easy observation.

The same high quality parabolic primary mirror as in the proven Explorer-150P telescopes has been installed, making the Heritage-150P an excellent and powerful all-rounder that allows wonderful observations of moon and planets but also deep sky objects.

The patented, collapsible FlexTube™ system was created for convenient transport and storage of the telescope. It is designed for convenient use on a tabletop, but additionally has a standard 3/8" photo thread at the bottom to use it on an already existing tripod. You can also optionally use e.g. our Sky-Watcher AZ5 stainless steel tripod (No. 20316). Both parts of the telescope can also be used separately. For example, you can use the telescope tube with the prism rail on an equatorial mount or you can attach another telescope to the Virtuoso mount.

This telescope is therefore particularly well suited for travel. It is also very suitable for youth groups or in schools, for example, with its simple operation and high performance. The Heritage-150P Virtuoso GTi is thus a particularly versatile telescope.
