The three-lens ED special glass apochromats from EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC offer everything that makes the heart of the amateur astronomer beat faster - and at a moderate price. The three-lens construction with Hoya FCD01-ED special glass and two air gaps enables a correction that is clearly visible above the level of the two-lens ED-Apos, which are otherwise available in this price range.

A calculated polystyrene of over 0.9 speaks a very clear language compared to the 0.8x possible with two lenses. This superior imaging performance combined with solid mechanics results in a package that leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, an image leveler is available as an optional accessory for photography - so the device can also be used for photography without restrictions.

The tube length has been optimized so that accessories with a critical focus position can also be used. With all EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC ED apochromats, a triplet lens with air gap and Hoya "FCD-1 special glass ensures excellent imaging performance with visual use and photography.
