APM Apochromatic 130/910-mm-FPL53 mm FPL53 Refractor with 3.7" Rack And Pinion Focuser

Here, a new optics of the APM SuperED FPL53 Apo series is used, which APM has manufactured in Japan, which is very harmoniously matched in terms of visual and photographic application. The quality of the new optics is on an extra high level, not only the color correction is almost perfect, also the spherical correction is on the level of other high-end apochromats.

The focal length of about 910 mm is chosen very universally, with the 0.75x Riccardi reducer a CCD friendly focal length of about 637 mm with a focal ratio of F/5.25 can be achieved. For those who love planetary detail, there are high quality Barlow systems to choose from, and solar observing is also a pleasure with the appropriate accessories. Here, too, the apo shows its full class in definition and contrast.

The unit comes standard with 3.7" RAP focuser (1:10 dual-speed, 360° rotatable) as well as finder shoe, Losmandy style dovetail bar and 2"-1.25" connection adapter and carrying case. The system is "ready to work". M63 and M68 female threads are also available.

With 9.9 kg final weight a still quite light transportable travel apo!
