Our goal was to find a worthy successor to the legendary 80mm LOMO Triplet APO, which is to meet the highest demands both optically and mechanically. With the new TLAPO804-FT we succeeded. The refractor is one of the best telescopes in its class and is an ideal travel telescope. Astrophotographers and natural observers will be pleased with the telescope.

The 2 "Starlight Feather Touch Eyepieces:

A precise adjustment and precise clamping is not only important for astrophotography. Too often the actually good optical performance of the lens was reduced by means of a moderate mechanics. Not so with this TS 80mm F6 Super Apo. We installed the best eyepiece we could find - without compromise.

The lens has been tested, the graphic represents the color deviation with respect to the wavelength of the light. The result is clear, even at magnifications of more than 200 fold, the image remains snow-white. No color error will be visible. If the telescope is used for astrophotography, even bright stars will not show blue fringing, as is the case with duplex lenses or triplet lenses with FPL-51 or similar apo elements.

- Starlight RISER: Extension pieces to remove the eyepiece extension from the tube. For visual observation and astrophotography with 2 "Flattener TSFSLAT2 we recommend the R20-1.4 with 35,6mm length

- TSFLAT2: TS Picture field for astrophotography - The corrector does not change the focal length. It provides full correction and illumination to the full format. The optimum distance from the M48 thread of the flasher to the camera sensor is 123mm. We are pleased to offer you a complete adapter kit.

- TSRED279-80: 0.79x 4-element Focal Length Reduction and Image Flatness - The Reducer illuminates Camerasensors up to APS-C format, with full correction. The focal length of the APO is thereby reduced to 379 mm and the opening ratio is increased to f / 4.74.
