TS Photoline 80 mm f / 7 FPL53 Duplet apo refractor

The new Photoline Apo from TS Optics offers a very good performance in virtually every field of observation and astrophotography. The imaging quality sets standards in this class. In the lens, the "Extra-Low-Dispersion" glass FPL53 from Ohara (Japan) is used. This high-quality Apo element and the relaxed opening ratio of f / 7 allow a virtually color-defect-free image. The Duplett lens also allows faster cooling.



The best mechanics guarantee an excellent picture over years and success in astrophotography

The best optics can only be successfully used if the mechanics are correct. Here is often saved in the wrong spot. Not so with the Photoline 80 mm f / 7 Apo.

The photographic application - a telescope, two focal lengths

The photoline f / 7-Apo is perfectly suited for astrophotography, as with any light-refracting refractor, however, the field has to be corrected so that the stars on the edge are also beautifully round. We offer the following possibilities, the correctors are linked in the accessory area.

♦ TSFlat2 - universal 2 "image field corrector without change in focal length: The corrector is inserted directly into the 2" plug-in sleeve and clamped with the adapter kit. The working distance is 116 mm from the M48 connector of the corrector. With the TSFlat2A you get the complete adaptation to your camera from us delivered. We recommend the TSFlat2 for cameras up to APS-C format.

♦ TSFlat2.5 - 2.5 "image field corrector without change in the focal length: The corrector is screwed to the M63 connection thread, the adapter M63a-Flat25 is necessary, the working distance from the M69 connection thread of the flattener is 101 mm , 5 for cameras with full format sensors.

♦ TSRed279 - 2 "-Photoline-Reducer and Corrector: The 0.79-fold corrector reduces the focal length of the apos to 442 mm and increases the light intensity from f / 7 to f / 5.53. The reducer is directly applied to the 2" Plug sleeve clamped. The working distance from the T2 thread is 58 mm. We recommend the Reducer for cameras up to APS-C format sensors.

♦ TSRed379 - 3 "-Photoline-Reducer and Corrector: This 0.79-fold corrector also reduces the focal length to 442 mm and increases the light intensity to f / 5.53, while the working distance from the M48 thread is 58 mm The M63a-M68i adapter is recommended for CCD cameras with larger sensors and for DSLR cameras with full-size sensors.
