The Vixen ED80SF is a high-quality, compact ED apo featuring a wide range of accessories. This makes it an ideal allround refractor for astronomers demanding high standards of optics and mechanics. With the ED80SF Vixen has brought out an interesting and price-efficient alternative to more expensive japanese EDs. It differs from similar instruments with its extensive equipment and a very asthetic design. Apart from that, the telescope provides a brilliant image, almost free of chromatical aberration. The ED can magnify up to 200x and even then shows relatively low color fringing.
