The Askar 131F combines the strengths of a high-performance astrograph with the advantages of a high-quality APO refractor for visual observation. The meticulously designed 3-element ED lens ensures excellent chromatic correction and delivers high-contrast, brilliant images with exceptional sharpness.

Thanks to the built-in field corrector, astrophotographers benefit from a flat, optimally illuminated field of view - ideal for modern camera sensors. At the same time, the high-quality optics deliver an impressively clear and natural image all the way to the edge of the field of view, also during visual observation. Weighing just 9.4 kg, including rings and rails, the apo is still portable. It also makes a fine showpiece in any observatory.

Whether for detailed deep-sky images or casual observations of the Moon, planets, and star fields, the Askar 131F stands out as a versatile, premium apochromatic telescope for demanding astronomers.

Astrophotography - easy and with perfect results

The Askar 131F makes astrophotography exceptionally convenient and straightforward. Simply connect your camera, focus, and get started right away - thanks to the built-in corrector, the camera is automatically positioned at the correct working distance. There´s no need for complicated calculations or additional extension rings.

The high-quality focuser with a precise 1:10 reduction ratio enables smooth and accurate focusing - a crucial advantage for high-resolution astrophotography. For maximum compatibility, a comprehensive adapter set with M54x0.75 and M48x0.75 threads is available, allowing numerous astro and DSLR cameras to be easily connected.

For all astrophotographers looking for even higher speed and a larger field of view, an optional 0.74x reducer is available for the Askar 131F. This reducer was specifically designed for the apo and is optimally matched to its optics..

Thanks to its built-in 360° rotation, you can perfectly align your camera with the desired celestial object without having to reposition your entire setup. This makes the Askar 131F a well-designed tool for serious astrophotographers.

The apo is also a powerful telescope for observing

The Askar 131F not only excels in astrophotography but is also an outstanding apochromatic telescope for visual observation. Thanks to its compatibility with 1.25" and 2" accessories, the telescope can be flexibly combined with a wide variety of eyepieces and accessories.

The excellently corrected optics enable impressively high-contrast and sharp views of the Moon and planets - the apo handles even high magnifications of up to about 350x with astonishing detail. Crater structures on the Moon, fine cloud bands on Jupiter, and the Cassini Division in Saturn´s rings are rendered clearly and precisely.

However, the Askar 131F truly shines when observing extensive deep-sky objects. Large nebulae, open star clusters, and galaxy fields benefit from the flat field of view and excellent edge sharpness. Even when using long-focal-length 2" wide-field eyepieces, the stars remain pinpoint and razor-sharp all the way to the edge. This allows you to enjoy fascinating panoramic views of vast star fields and impressive galaxy clusters.
