Apochromatic refractor AP 51/178 MiniCat WIFD OTA

The new, ultra-compact MiniCat Astrograph from Wiillam Optics is a high-quality photo machine consisting of 6 lenses in 2 groups with an integrated focuser (WIFD). The aperture ratio of f/3.5 allows very short exposure times with the highest image quality and correction. The illuminated image field corresponds to that of full-format cameras. The very short tube length and low weight of only 1.67 kg make the MiniCat a perfect apochromat for travel and for small photo mounts, such as the iOptron SkyGuider. An M48 thread is provided for connecting the camera. Suitable T2 adapters can be found under "Recommended accessories". The scope of delivery includes not only a protective nylon carrying case, but also a specially designed Bahtinov mask. This mask helps with focusing and is firmly integrated into the lens attachment. Optics like this MiniCat 51 are ideal for photographers who focus on the night sky, but also on wildlife photography.
