Nakoh 60GT, a powerful apochromat for astrophotography and observation from Japan

The finest craftsmanship from Japan meets optical precision and innovative design. The result is a fine apochromatic refractor for astrophotography at the highest level, but also for fascinating observations of the starry sky and nature. Thanks to well-thought-out details, cameras - together with specially designed correctors - and eyepieces can be easily integrated. The Nakoh 60GT was developed for amateur astronomers and nature lovers who do not want to compromise.

The apo has sufficient back focus for 1.25" and 2 accessories and offers a magnification range from 11x to approximately 200x with matching eyepieces.

Two optional correctors, a 1.0x flattener and a 0.65x reducer, correct the image field for demanding astrophotography, even with large, high-resolution sensors.

Weighing only 2.9 kg and featuring a retractable dew shield, the apo is ideal for mobile use.

A ball-bearing dual-speed focuser with an M68x1 intermediate thread for screw adapters allows for precise focusing even with heavy cameras or eyepieces. The focuser is directly compatible with motorized focus systems such as the EAF from ZWO or the AAF from ToupTek. The focuser also offers 360° rotation with precise degree graduation, allowing celestial objects to be perfectly positioned.

Equipped with a high-precision triplet lens made of SD and ED glass from Japan, the optics of the 60GT offer excellent control over chromatic and spherical aberrations. The result is sharp, pinpoint stars and beautifully corrected images across the entire flat field of view of 44 mm with the optional correctors - ideal for wide-field astrophotography.
