This telescope is checked, measured and adjusted if necessary before delivery. The focuser is set. Upon request, you will receive a meaningful quality certificate from your telescope (test report with star test, Ronchi, adjustment, with individual serial number) included! Please specify with order!

SkyWatcher EVOSTAR 72 ED DS PRO OTA ED-APO Telescope

     
Apochromatic refractors produce the sharpest and highest quality images of all telescope systems through their shadow-free, textbook-like diffraction patterns.

The Skywatcher High End Evostar 72ED Apo Refractor includes a Doublet lens with a lens made of ultra low refractive ED glass. High quality Schott glass was used for the Kronglas element.

Each glass-air surface of the optics has been provided with an exotic, metallic anti-reflection coating to achieve a high, maximum light transmission of 99.5%!

Groundbreaking Skywatcher Metallic High-Transmission Coating (MHC) is the highest quality optical lens coating in its class.

(Please note that the Evostar 72ED Apo contains a different lens glass combination than the Evostar 80ED / 100ED
and 120ED models)

The new Skywatcher Apo refractor has already been tested by us on the optical bench and offers by far the best price / performance ratio in its class.

With a weight less than 2000 grams, it is also extremely lightweight and is excellent for e.g. as a travel or guiding telescope.

Caution Zenith mirror and eyepiece are not included!
