This compact apochromatic telescope can do much more than just guide: It excels as an outstanding guide scope and also as a high-quality telephoto lens for use both day and night. The optics are designed for sensors up to 1" and offer excellent field correction as well as uniform illumination. The three-element lens effectively corrects chromatic aberrations and ensures a flat image field with sharp, clean stars right to the edge. This allows for detailed images with high image quality. Thanks to the detachable tube segment, the apo can be flexibly adapted. This also allows for the use of star diagonals and Amici prisms. In no time at all, the photo apo transforms into a powerful spotting scope for nature and sky observation.

The focuser, featuring a robust rack-and-pinion drive and precise bearing guides, ensures maximum stability and smooth, precise focusing. Even with heavy camera equipment, the focus remains reliably where it belongs. The focuser is compatible with electronic motorized focus systems such as AAF from ToupTek or EAF from ZWO.
Modular tube for maximum flexibility in observation and photography
The tube comes with a 70 mm extension segment. This allows you to optimize the apo for your specific applications.When the extension segment is screwed on, 1.25" MINI cameras can be used for astrophotography and guiding. Direct visual observation is also possible.When the extension segment is removed, astro cameras, DSLRs, or mirrorless system cameras can be used. Observation with a 1.25" star diagonal or Amici prism is also possible.
The apo is particularly flexible thanks to its modular dovetail
An M5 female thread on the top of the CNC tube rings allows for the attachment of additional accessories. The multifunctional mount on the bottom fits into standard finder shoes, enabling the apo to be used as a super-finder or as a guide scope. Of course, a 1/4" thread for camera tripods is also available.
