The MESSIER MCX-127 telescope is your own small observatory with GoTo computer control. Easy to use, easy to transport and universally applicable.

Goto systems play an important role in the world of amateur astronomy because they ensure that users spend less time looking for specific objects and more time observing and photography. The BRESSER Messier GoTo control enables you to operate your telescope with the included computer handbox. After entering the basic data such as date, time and location, at least 1 known reference star is approached and confirmed. Then you can select your favorite objects from thousands of objects in the integrated database and have them automatically approached and tracked by the MCX telescope. It couldn't be easier!

One of the outstanding features of the MCX telescopes is the very solid fork mount made of aluminum and the universal field tripod made of stainless steel. Both guarantee a safe stand and as little unwanted vibrations as possible during the observation. In addition, the drives in both axes are equipped with precision ball bearings and precise worm gears made of steel / brass. This ensures that the stars are tracked evenly and quietly.

Adapt your smartphone camera using the included smartphone holder directly behind the SPL26mm eyepiece or mount your camera on the M35 threaded connection and take astro photos of the moon and planets. You will be amazed at what this MCX telescope can do with little effort. The 90 ° folding mirror on the back of the telescope enables a quick and easy change between using an eyepiece or a camera.

When it comes to tracking the stars with a telescope or camera, there is nothing comparable to the precision of a German equatorial or parallactic mount. It is important to track the objects as closely as possible when they rise in the east and sink in the west. With a German equatorial / equatorial mount, it is very easy for observers to keep their heavenly object in the center of the eyepiece for a long time. This possibility of installation (EQ mode) is already included in your new MCX telescope. The so-called pole height cradle on the tripod head can be inclined accordingly and set to the latitude of your location. So you can quickly switch between these two types of installation (AZ / EQ) - without purchasing additional accessories!
It is of course also possible to use the MCX telescope quickly without a tripod as a desktop device!
