100mm (4") f/10 WiFi GoTo Klevtsov-Cassegrain telescope with convertible table tripod

The easily portable Sky-Watcher K100 (Mini Virtuoso GTi) is designed for complete control from a smartphone or tablet using the SynScan app freeware for iOS and Android. The Mini Virtuoso GTi mount is equipped with a built-in WiFi module that creates its own WiFi network. This allows the mount to be used anywhere without an existing WiFi or mobile network. After entering your coordinates into the app and completing a simple alignment process, you are ready to explore the universe using the app's intuitive touchscreen menu.

The Mini Virtuoso GTi with the SynScan app enables fully computerized GoTo control, allowing the telescope to be automatically aligned to one of the many in the app's extensive database of more than 10,000 celestial objects.

The compact K100 Klevtsov-Cassegrain optics is an interesting catadioptic design that includes a primary and secondary mirror as well as a small corrective lens to fold the focal length of the telescope to a relatively small size. It is ideal for observing double stars or surface details on the moon as well as the bright planets.

Included is a table mount that can be converted into a large tripod with extendable aluminum legs for maximum convenience, portability and versatility. The included smartphone mount lets you take pictures of the starry sky with your smartphone!
