The new Acuter Voyager Mak80-Fast is a high-quality, powerful 80mm aperture Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope. This compact and easily transportable telescope is ideal for observing and exploring the night sky. Because the image is upright and laterally correct, you can also use it for daytime nature observations. The optical system is multi-coated for maximum contrast and sharpness. You can even take photos with your smartphone using the included smartphone adapter.

The name FAST stands for the patented friction focuser. Instead of the usual focus knob, which requires multiple turns, this telescope is equipped with a friction focuser operated by two adjustment knobs. This moves the primary mirror to achieve the correct focus. Furthermore, it features a useful focus scale marking the distances of 8m, 17m, and infinity. This focuser allows for quick and easy adjustment of the correct focus without frequent trial and error.

The telescope is compact and light enough to easily take with you on your next trip.

The set includes the 80mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope tube with an 850mm focal length, eyepieces for 42.5x and 68x magnification with a 70° apparent field of view, a 6x21 optical finder scope, a high-quality phase-corrected 90° roof prism, a smartphone adapter, and a carrying case. The set comes in an attractive gift box. You can also expand the telescope with additional standard 1.25" eyepieces to achieve other magnifications.

The telescope can be mounted on any standard 1/4" camera tripod using the standard 1/4" camera thread. You can also use it with the 45mm dovetail rail on any astronomical mount.

The Maksutov telescope is named after its inventor, Dmitri Maksutov (1896–1964), a Russian optician and astronomer who introduced this design in 1941.
